Same here. I hear nothing but good things about the scary factor of that one. Silent Hill Homecoming is pretty good at the creepiness, too...

I don't see the point in this, to be honest. I'm more inclined to find out Pixel's paypal account and give him some money for the freeware version on the PC.

People should really stop going on about Sony buying Level-5. It'll never happen because Level-5 is huge now. The Dark Cloud games, Rogue Galaxy, Jeanne D'Arc, Professor Layton, the new Dragon Quest games, Ushiro and Ni no Kuni (Level-5 AND Studio Ghibli working together on a game? Could it be any better?)... Far too big a company for Sony to buy.

As for True Fantasy Live Online... Did you know that Hino said he still wants to release the game, just not on Microsoft's consoles?

Somehow, I think this might just be a system seller. I mean, it has a massive amount of features, a seemingly great story, very solid battle mechanics... Christmas day purchase for me. :D

My PC:

AMD Phenom™ 9950 Black Edition @ 2.6GHz
4GB (2×2GB) Corsair TwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400
512MB BFG Tech 9800GTX+ OC

It cost me £963.37/$1,706.89 to build, it can run Crysis on High settings and Crysis Warhead on a mix of High/Very High. You don't need a $6000 machine to run either game. And is anyone stupid enough to spend $4500 on a laptop in an attempt to get one to run either game?

Ugh... Don't try to pull that one, okay? I've probably forgotten more about White Knight Chronicles than you'll ever know. But there's no disputing that this looks just as good as that - while it may not have native 1080p resolution, it DOES have an amazingly beautiful art direction that puts it right next to WKC in terms of gorgeousness.

Is this exactly news worthy?

Aside from that, looks amazing. Bison has some awesome attacks, and that Seth dude looks badass. A very good addition to the franchise, it seems.

It's not like FPSs don't stick to that same style. There's nothing wrong with that style of RPG - the whole point of it is to be as anime-like as possible.

Liek OMG! NOWAI! I already basically rule the forums, so I thought I'd branch out and meet the mainsite gang. :P

It's the staple fashion for RPGs. It's called a "style", as with how almost all western FPS games are really just a bunch of different shades of brown.

Generic character design, sure (how many more blonde hair, blue eyed protagonists must we endure?), but visually stunning. Easily on par with White Knight Chronicles, possibly even better. Now to see if the gameplay is up to par, eh? :D

Product... Whoooop... Will you both shut the hell up already?

Everyone knows Nintendo is legendary. They're only a games company, whereas Sony and Microsoft are huge arse megaconglomerates. After the failure of the Gamecube, they NEEDED money to stop themselves going under like Sega did. Right? So there's no complaints or questions as to why the Wii exists. Nintendo have made their money, so now they're getting back into the swing of making real games for the console - but as evi...

Hmm... That's not too bad, I guess. It's really easy to convert music to AAC, so it's not hugely intrusive. Given how iTunes isn't the only way of converting MP3's to AAC anyway, there being much smaller and quicker converters all over the place, it should be simple enough.

But region locking? That had better not be true. I don't want to import a DSi, only to find it doesn't work... I guess if it means I'd only be able to download the Japanese DLC, as well, it wouldn't work too w...

Total flamebait, I know, but the 80 million or so DS owners would love to know where you got that idea from. 'Specially when there are barely more than 30 million PSP owners.

I do love the people who slate FFVII just 'cause it's as popular as it is, regardless of whether it deserves it or not. Anyway...

Persona, Vagrant Story, Wild Arms, FFVII and Xenogears... Those are very good choices. I either haven't played the other five, or I don't like them. I agree, however, that FF Tactics deserves a place on that list, as does Chrono Cross (even though it wasn't as good as Trigger, it's still exceptional and better than most other RPGs) and Star Ocean also ...

Anyone else looking forward to an enhanced WiFi Pictochat with webcam/microphone support? It's bound to happen, even if it's released on DSWare. We get a semi-decent camera alongside the microphone as well as a similar application to the one released with the original Gameboy Camera. If it can record video with the same level of editing software, I can see this becoming very important for future DSi games (as well as spending hours and hours messing with pictures and video).

The ...

Is a bit, isn't it? Not very representative. Could've used something a little more advanced than Paint. >_>

As it stands, I can't see it matter if it's a Japanese exclusive. If people outside of the country want it, they'll just import it and buy a transformer for charging. As for competing with the PSP and iPhone... Isn't it already kicking the former's butt, and when did it become a phone?

This'll be the 36th comment on this news story, and it's been a very nice discussion so far. Kudos to you all. ^_^

I remember being very excited back when this game was announced. I mean, we had this, Project HAMMER and Sadness to look forward to as staple games to add to the collection. With Sadness all but disappeared (the vague Q3 2009 release date doesn't sit well with me) and Project HAMMER, well, hammered, I was getting kind of worried myself. But now that Disaster is back,...

He knows his game has faults, and he's openly admitting them. While it smells like a little arrogance on his part, I think it's refreshing that a guy as vocal about his pride and joy isn't making it out to be the greatest thing since sliced bread.
